Some parents want less hidden sugar without a cupboard full of 'diet' cookies. That is this basket.
Raisins in muesli still have fruit sugar. Wheat flakes have a little malt. What you are not buying is a cartoon cereal box, or cookies that can upset a stomach.
If they miss the cookie, add the Treat Drawer next Sunday.
Why these snacks
- Creamy 100% peanut butter.
- Plain oats for porridge.
- No-added-sugar muesli for the weekday bowl.
- Wheat flakes — crispy, almost no added sugar.
- Rice cakes for the peanut butter.
Common questions
Is this actually sugar-free?
No-added-sugar is the honest label. Fruit in muesli and a little malt in flakes are not zero. They are not a malt drink either.
Will a picky eater eat this?
Often with banana on the oats or peanut butter on a rice cake. If the bowl comes back full, start with First Week instead of a big cart.
Next Sunday

The Breakfast Week
Breakfast that still feels like breakfast. Muesli, oats, peanut butter, a chocolate cereal they will eat, and strawberry spread — mornings that are not chocolate powder in milk.

The Savory Tiffin
Jeera biscuits, wheat flakes, rice cakes, peanut butter. Jeera biscuits, wheat flakes, rice cakes, and peanut butter — for the kid who is tired of 'healthy cookies.'

The First Week
Three things. See what they actually eat. Don't rebuild the kitchen. Peanut butter, a hazelnut spread, and almond cookies — three things to see what they actually eat.
